German Amateur Compilation
Publishers will often bundle several previously released games on one disc and sell it as a compilation, usually several years after their initial releases and on a new console. The games usually are part of the same series or genre, and tend to be a Milestone Celebration. May count as a Revenue Enhancing Device if you're cynical, though they do allow late-coming fans a chance to experience older games in the series, and occasionally contain games that may have been subject to No Export for You when they were first released. Theoretically, this could lead to an average game series being Vindicated by Reruns , but most series that get this treatment are A-List series in the first place. Updated Re-release is similar, but it's usually just one game and more polish rather than a package.

Music of the Holocaust
They watch a procession of military vehicles drive down the cobblestone streets, raising their arms in the Nazi salute as Adolf Hitler passes by in the motorcade, saluting them back. They eagerly accept flags decorated with the swastika, the symbol of the Third Reich, from Nazi soldiers who have come to greet them. Though these chilling images set the ideal opening scene for a Hollywood-produced drama, they were actually shot in by an amateur cameraman. The project is pulling together films that focus on the rise of Nazism and its role in Jewish and non-Jewish life in Austria.

Music was heard in many ghettos, concentration camps, and partisan outposts of Nazi-controlled Europe. While popular songs dating from before the war remained attractive as escapist fare, the ghetto, camp, and partisan settings also gave rise to a repertoire of new works. These included topical songs inspired by the latest gossip and news, and songs of personal expression that often concerned the loss of family and home. For many victims of Nazi brutality, music was an important means of preserving and asserting their humanity. Such music—particularly the topical songs—also serves as a form of historical documentation.
